Funding audit and DSAT workshop

Funding audit and DSAT workshop

1 August 2018, 10:00 - 15:30

etc venues, Prospero House, 241 Borough High St, London, SE1 1GA

The ESFA has now sent letters to colleges that will be audited on their 2017/18 funding claim.

Join Nick Linford and ILR auditor Karl Bentley from RSM for this technical and in depth practical workshop to prepare for this funding audit based on the 2017/18 audit working papers. Ensure you protect your revenue and reputation. Click here to read previous delegate feedback.

The provider Data Self-Assessment Toolkit is free software supplied by the Education and Skills Funding Agency, and interrogates 2017/18 data exported from the Funding Information System (FIS) and produces reports on this data, so that providers and auditors can identify and investigate potential anomalies in Individualised Learner Record (ILR) data. ESFA funded providers are required to use the DSAT software, and it is used by the external ILR auditors as well as Ofsted as part of pre-inspection data credibility checks.

NOTE: This event is aimed at MIS staff responsible for preparing for funding audit and using the DSAT software, and will be a technical and practical workshop which will focus on the updated audit working papers, particular DSAT 17/18 reports, with real ILR data, in a great deal of detail.

Colleges selected for audit will find this workshop of particular use, but other ESFA funded providers that could be audited at any time will also benefit.

Register now at no risk (full refund for cancellations 7 days or more before the event) as this event has been fully booked in the past.
